This book is a perfect example of what appears, to this reader, to be a lack of serious editing – even if you buy the premise. This book could have been edited by about pages. A typical stalker’s obsession develops, as he patiently and methodically sets out to destroy the lives of Ashley and those who love her, with his own “love” albeit a decidedly possessive, rage-filled, obsessive kind of love of Ashley being the driving force behind everything he does. Micheal O’Connell, from the wrong side of the tracks has fallen in love with upper-middle class blond Ashley, talk about a news reporters wet dreamafter a drunken one night stand.

Okay, so let’s assume that the stalking laws do not work and what these characters tried to put into motion was the only way to deal with O’Connell.

I wish I’d written down an example, but I didn’t and I have no desire to look back through this awful book for one. There is violence but the real kick in the gut feelings come from the deliberate actions by a master of manipulation. Its about coincidences and what happens when a truly smart but demented character manipulates those ci OK.
