Mar 23, Nicole rated it really liked it Shelves: Best Stefan’s Diaries so far! For the Damon fans Damon plays a bigger part in The Asylum. The Salvatore Brothers are working togheters to fight against their mutual enemy.
Other things I liked: Such an amazing girl.
The Benefit Ball James, who provides them with his wisdom and products. I love Damon way more than Stefan, so how could I not love this book. Curious about the way the Serie will end.
Jun 30, Bianca rated it liked it Shelves: Feb 10, Menna Ashraf rated it liked it Shelves: I used to enjoy The Vampire Diaries books when Jurnalsle was Alas, I’m not 14 anymore.
Just a point of view. Anyways, I love all TVD: I got used to L. Srefan reading her books, I embrace myself for a very slow paced beginning, a somehow intriguing middle and a very cap The cover: When reading her books, I embrace myself for a very slow paced beginning, a somehow intriguing middle and a very captivating end. I wish she would change that, but, well, I still love her books!
The title perfectly fits the story! The Prologue and the Epilogue are very good.
One of the best things about L. The non-stop fighting between Damon and Stefan is crazy good. I can see why they stwfan like that now in Cora, the female protagonist, is amazing. I loved everything about her. I liked how every now and then, we get to have a glimpse of Katherine.
If there was one thing I would change about the book all of the books in the series actuallyit would be the pacing at first. It always atefan boring that I wish I could stop reading it all at once.
The Asylum by L.J. Smith
What keeps me reading is knowing that the best is yet to come. I used to dislike him before reading his Diaries, but now, I actually respect him. Damon is the impulsive, seductive and arrogant brother.
She is very courageous and amazingly understanding. She kept the Salvatore brothers united and organized. A good friend to them. But it makes me wonder, if Samuel is Klaus, then who is Henry? Could he be the mysteriously dead younger brother? She was turned by Samuel and he keeps her around like a pet and she likes it. James is a new character introduced in this book. He sells witchy stuff to anyone who pays. He helps Damon, Stefan and Cora thru the story and has a very good since of logic.
But I could see his hands shaking—the faintest of tremors, so subtle, they would be invisible to the human eye. Did this dependence on a human to lead us to safety mean we were worse off than we thought? Either way, I trusted her. All I need is to speak with Samuel, man to man. The more steps we took into the basement, the hotter it became. Damon had been wrong.
And then, brother, the city is ours. Of course it is. This is definitely a favorite book of mine. It has action, friendship, jurnalelw, horror and vampires!
From the title, I was liu expecting The Asylum to be a home for wayward girls? This one ends in a huge cliffhanger! Plus, we got excerpts from Stefan’s Diaries 6: The Phantom which I’ve already read.
Okay, now that you know that, I have questions about where Stef’s Diaries is going. If that’s a big “if” they manage to just kill off Samuel, how will they ever clear Damon’s name of The Jack the Ripper accus From the title, I was not expecting The Asylum to be a home for wayward girls?
If that’s a big “if” they manage to just kill off Samuel, how will they ever clear Damon’s name of The Jack the Ripper accusations? This book brought the witchy ju-ju element into this story Looks like Cora may talk Stefan into drinking the people blood again, just so he’s strong enough to get his brother back.
I think Cora has finally thrown in the towel on her sister, Violet. Oh, well, now to wait for another book! Jan 24, Jamie rated it liked it. Another book in the series from the show’s creators and based on the mythologies behind The Vampire Diaries’s show. As always, a better read even if in a more compact manner, than the original stefann.
Damon, seems a bit flatter in personality than they have been betraying him, and of course more so than the reader really knows from watching the show, but the lyi are told through Stefan’s pov and jyrnalele well to the character’s in the show. Good, quick read on a week when the show is on hiatus. Jan 26, Stephanie rated it did not like it. Omg this book was torture. Use a fucking thesaurus ffs. How many times can you use the word hiss??? The writing was terrible and I am so sick of this Jack the Ripper and Samuel shit.
No wonder they only wrote one more of these books after this. The first two were great and it just went downhill from there. Nov 08, Jen rated it did not like it Shelves: Yup, I’m done with all the Vampire Diaries books. Even in the ones not written by LJ Smith, the characters are poorly written jurnaalele the dialogue is droll. I don’t even want to read the last of the three London stories–I just don’t care enough. And I’m usually a girl who feels obligated to finish any series that I’ve started.
Sep 18, Richard Denney rated it it was ok. I love the show but WTF Stefan’s Diaries are based on the TV series why did they change things in these books that didn’t happen in the tv show?
